Online Website Purchases – Exchange Policy
At Knitty Gritty, we strive to make your online shopping experience easy, enjoyable, and stress-free. To support this, we’ve created a clear and simple 3-step exchange process to help you exchange items smoothly.
How to Exchange
Step 1: Contact Us
Get in touch with our Customer Care Team through any of the following channels:
- Hotline or WhatsApp
- Direct message on Instagram or Facebook
Step 2: Exchange Approval & Pickup
Once your exchange request is reviewed and approved, we will place an exchange order on your behalf. A courier will collect the item directly from your doorstep. After the item is received, it will be inspected for quality and hygiene. We will then confirm whether the exchange has been accepted.
Step 3: Delivery of New Item
After approval, your replacement item will be delivered to your address.
Exchange Terms & Conditions
- Exchange Window: All exchange requests must be submitted within 3 days of delivery.
- Item Condition: Products must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and returned with all original tags and packaging intact. Items that are worn, altered, stained, or unhygienic will not be accepted.
- Packaging Responsibility: Customers must ensure returned items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
- Inspection: Every returned item will undergo a quality check before the exchange is approved.
- Exchange Options: Exchanges are allowed for size changes or alternative items, subject to stock availability.
- Courier Charges: Any courier charges for exchanges will be borne by the customer.
- No Refunds or Store Credit: Cash refunds or store credits are not offered for exchanges.
Price Difference Policy
- If the replacement item costs more, the price difference must be paid by the customer.
- If the replacement item costs less, the remaining amount will not be refunded and will be forfeited.
Exceptions
- Bodysuits are not eligible for exchange due to hygiene reasons.
- Sale items are strictly non-exchangeable.
Rejected Exchanges
If an item fails inspection and is deemed unacceptable for exchange, it will be returned to the customer. All courier charges in such cases will be the customer’s responsibility.
Processing Time
The complete exchange process may take up to 14 days, which includes pickup, inspection, processing, and delivery.
Online Website Purchases – Damaged or Defective Items
While we maintain high-quality standards, if you receive a damaged or defective product, Knitty Gritty offers a clear and fair return or exchange process.
Reporting a Defect
- Defects must be reported within 2 days of delivery.
- Contact us via email, phone, WhatsApp, or social media.
- Please provide your order details along with clear photos of the defect.
Return & Inspection
- A courier will be arranged to collect the item for inspection.
- Items must be unused and returned with original tags attached.
- After inspection, we will inform you whether your claim has been approved.
Courier Charges
- Knitty Gritty will cover courier costs up to Rs.400.
- Any amount exceeding this limit will be charged to the customer.
Exchange & Refund Options for Defective Items
- You may request a size exchange or replacement item, subject to availability.
- If the replacement item is higher in price, the difference must be paid.
- If the replacement item is lower in price, the remaining balance will be refunded.
- If you choose not to receive a replacement, you may request a full refund for the defective item. Refunds may take up to 14 days to process.
Important Notes
- All defect claims are subject to inspection and approval.
- Refund or exchange requests may be rejected if the defect is found to be invalid or not genuine.
- Management reserves the right to make final decisions regarding defects, exchanges, and refunds, and these decisions are non-negotiable.
- No refunds or store credit are available for exchanges of non-defective items.
Please note that all exchanges may take up to 14 days to complete due to courier transit time, inspection, processing, and delivery. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
